Two delicious Parathas (Read Romancing the Royals:Part 1) later I was ready to walk down the narrow lanes of the Lake city again. The City Palace, Udaipur, my next destination, ten minutes walk from there.
The award-winning Palace tour is not to be missed. The chambers, secret passages, exquisitely designed rooms all are a must see. Play of light, mirror work, Palace attendants and the city’s view from the palace make you keep coming back for more.
